The Thai Copper Pod, also known as the Senna plant, is a fast-growing tree that can reach a height of 15 to 24 meters. Its fruits and pods are commonly used as vegetables in curries, while its wood serves as fuel or material for making furniture.
The buds of the Thai Copper Pod contain an antifungal component. The flower buds contain a flavanone glycoside pigment, which helps combat fungi. Additionally, the flowers contain an alcoholic extract with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
