Environmental policy
It is common knowledge that e-commerce is not always good for the environment. For example, about 60% of all consumers miss the first delivery moment, which has by far the greatest impact on the environment. But also in the area of returns, the environmental costs are high if you look at the transport, packaging and processing of the items. Unfortunately, there often seems to be little attention for sustainability in e-commerce, while consumers are becoming increasingly environmentally conscious.

Post a review and we'll plant a tree!
Feedback is very important to us as a webshop. We realize that with the sale of massage tables we do not always do what is best for the environment. To compensate for this, we plant one tree for every review (good or bad) we receive on the Webwinkelkeur assessment platform. A few times a year we donate the costs of planting a tree x the number of reviews to the OneTreePlanted organization that plants the trees all over the world.

Reducing missed deliveries
As mentioned earlier, missed deliveries have high environmental costs. Although there is no perfect solution to reduce this yet, we are happy to think along about how we can reduce this number. For example, do you live near Breda? Then you can easily pick up your package at our warehouse. You can also use the option Pakket Gemak from PostNL to reduce the number of missed deliveries. With Pakket Gemak, your package is delivered to a PostNL point near you and you can decide when you pick it up.

Recycled packaging and filling material
Almost all of our products are shipped in recycled packaging material. We also do our best to reduce the impact on the environment when choosing filling material. For example, we have a cardboard shredder in our warehouse that allows us to easily convert unusable cardboard into environmentally friendly filling material. In this way, we reduce the cardboard that we have to throw away and we save the environment by using almost no harmful filling material, such as plastic or filling chips.
Reduction of fuel consumption
Our warehouse is located 3 minutes away from a PostNL sorting center. We have consciously chosen to work with this warehouse, in order to minimize fuel consumption for delivering the ordered products to the sorting center. In addition, we also save money and time, which allows us to offer our products to you at a more competitive price.
Throwing away is a waste: our unique second chance collection
Any idea what happens to a product when you return it? Often these products can no longer be offered as new and are therefore thrown away. At Zengrowth we also deal with products that are returned for whatever reason and can no longer be sold as new. However, from an environmental perspective we think it is a waste to throw these products away.
Together with our logistics partner, we therefore started looking for a method to give our returns a second chance. The result is a unique second chance collection where we offer products with damaged packaging or a minor defect at a discount. In this way, we hope to contribute to a circular economy.
